  1. Lalaurie was cruel, but the stories about her and her house are mere fabrications. Yellow journalism us to blame. Read the first account(s) of what we found, and you will find that she was not the monster she was made out to be. If the house is haunted, it most likely has to do with other periods of the home's history. The truth is always more intriguing than b.s. stories.
